Bird Scouting in Minaya Park and the Canaveras Ridge Walk Trail in Mission Viejo

A few surprises came about in today’s local hiking venture namely:

1. 4 White-tailed Kites at the crest of Vista Del Lago with two courting in mid air
2. Lincoln’s Sparrow in Minaya Park
3. Fox (sooty) Sparrow on the Canaveras Ridge Walk Trail (GPS –  33.6326, -117.6540)
4. California Quail (2) on the Canaveras Ridge Walk Trail (GPS –  33.6327, -117.6542)
5. Rufous Hummingbird on the Canaveras Ridge Walk Trail (GPS –   33.6327, -117.6542)
