A visit to Arroyo Trabuco (entrance off Arroyo Vista) in Rancho Santa Margarita produced a reasonably good list in such a short period of time (2 hours). The complete list can be found on eBird.
Highlights of today’s journey were a Merlin early on in our adventure perched in a Sycamore Tree just off the main trail and on Arroyo Vista (street) and a adult Red-shouldered Hawk (western). I’ve included a few photos below.
