This was an unusual sighting for south Orange County.\u00a0 Typically a mountain finch (such as Big Bear or as close as the Santa Ana Mountains), this bird was initially found by another fellow birder on 7-12.\u00a0 I had opted to revisit the same GPS markings and was able to produce photographs of the male and female.\u00a0 I found both at the same location however about an hour apart in my findings.<\/p>\n
