\nWith migrant season upon us and the cool weather still lingering, it seemed proper to revisit this location as it had been over a year since I had last visited this park. Nothing rare to be reported excepted on this day and at this precise location however there were numerous pairs of birds at the tail end of the park.\u00a0 The few paired species of note were the Ash-throated Flycatchers, Northern Flickers (red-shafted) and multiple pairs of male and female Acorn Woodpeckers.\u00a0 In addition a very vocal Blue-gray Gnatacher, Oak Titmouse and Swainson’s Thrush all at the furthest point of the park.\u00a0 There were no campers present which made this an ideal birding session.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
