Monte Taylor and I arrived approximately 3:15pm in hopes to find several of the migrants that typically pass through this area.\u00a0 Our stay was until 7 p.m. though our success was only moderate, this visit was not in vain.<\/p>\n

In all, a total count of 33 species were accounted for including a Warbling Vireo, (Least) Bell’s Vireo, Yellow Warblers (5), Wilson’s Warbler and a male adult Hooded Oriole.\u00a0 Other birds of note were a single Clark’s Grebe, Hammond’s Flycatcher and an American kestrel.\u00a0 A complete list can be seen here<\/a><\/p>\n

Along the slopes were the blooming Arroyo Lupine flowers as shown here in this post.\u00a0 These are not edible and toxic if ingested to the human body.<\/p>\n
