Today, just as I reached the trail head at the end of Alicia Parkway, I had noticed a small flock of about 7 Rock Pigeons on the EMF towers at the entrance of the Arroyo Trabuco Trail in Rancho Santa Margarita.\u00a0 Though one of the pigeons seemed odd from afar.\u00a0 A closer inspection shows (2nd week in row) yet another leucistic (albino attributes) bird.\u00a0 Below are a few of the images taken today of the leucistic Rock Pigeon along with a Cactus Wren and a Red-tailed Hawk (western) that’s just about to get plagued by a flock of White-throated Swifts which eventually chase the Buteo away from its perched location.\u00a0 Lastly, there are a few images of the Arroyo Trabuco Trail at this location.<\/p>\n
