The following images were taken prior to the severe drought declared in 2014.
These were captured in March of 2012 which exemplify a more lush park. This is in part due to March being the tail end of our rainy season and it was prior to the onset of an oncoming drought in the years ahead. The images below also include the park’s only pond called “Dry Pond” during a period when it contained water. I’ve also included view images taken from the top of the Vista Ridge Trail and images from the back end of Oak Canyon Trail along with various wildlife found in the park.
