An infrequent visitor to Orange County, the Dusky-capped Flycatcher made an appearance at Gilman Park in Fullerton in March of 2015.  The last appearance of this species according to eBird was in 2003

The bird was originally found by Mike Huang and its presence can still be found as of early May 2015.  The species was positively identified by its unique call as its quite similar to far more common Ash-throated Flycatcher.
