With the worst storm on its way since 2009 and sunset approaching at 4:43pm, my 3pm arrival seemed timely to catch up on the latest shore birds near the San Juan Creek mouth in Dana point. The San Juan Creek Mouth is listed also as an eBird hotspot for any birders out there planning on visiting Orange County.
